What material are art posters made of?
The paper for art posters is museum-quality, matte, high-quality thick paper (250 g/m²), the manufacturing method of which takes into account a long life cycle and excellent quality.
- Museum-quality matte paper is uncoated and has an off-white base color. The paper is 250 g/m² and 0.29 mm thick.
- Using alkaline papermaking technology, this poster is acid-free, meaning that the pulp used to form the paper has a pH above 7 (neutral). The paper is also buffered with an alkaline substance, such as calcium carbonate, to neutralize acidic compounds absorbed from the atmosphere or formed through natural aging. This means that the poster will last for many years without yellowing or discoloration.
- The poster contains no or little OBA (optical brightening agents).
- 250 g/m² refers to the weight or density of the paper. It tells you how much one square meter of paper weighs in grams. In this case, one square meter of the paper in question weighs 250 grams .
- What does this mean in practice? Light copy paper is usually around 80 g/m². Photo paper or art poster paper is often 200–300 g/m². 250 g/m² is thick and sturdy paper that feels high-quality in the hand and is well suited for art posters, photographs or invitations, for example. This type of paper does not bend easily and is very durable. An example of such an art poster in the video on the homepage in the HannaartByHanna online store. All art posters in the HannaartByHanna online store weigh 250 g/m².
The frames are made of pine, oak or ash. They are sturdy, standard wooden frames for high-quality poster hanging. The poster is protected from light and dust by high-quality clear plastic plexiglass.
The photographs taken from the original works are at least 300 dpi, so the quality of the images on the posters is excellent.
- DPI stands for dots per inch . It tells you how many dots of emphasis (or pixels) fit into one inch (2.54 cm) of print or screen, for example. The higher the DPI, the more precise and detailed the print. For example, 300 DPI is a common print quality for photographs and fine art posters.
The posters use FSC-certified paper, frames, and manufacturers' professional certificates, indicating the regional availability, responsibility, and environmental friendliness of the materials.
FSC-certified paper means that the wood fiber used in the production of the paper comes from responsibly managed forests that meet the strict environmental and ethical criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC):
- Ecological: Forest management protects biodiversity, water bodies and soil. Clear-cutting and wild areas are avoided.
- Social rights: Certification respects indigenous rights and worker well-being
- Traceability: The FSC label guarantees that the origin of the product can be traced back to a certified forest. There are different types of FSC certifications: FSC 100%: All material comes from FSC-certified forests. FSC Mix: A combination of FSC-certified material, recycled fiber, and/or controlled wood. FSC Recycled: Made entirely from recycled material. FSC is the only forest certification system supported by major environmental organizations such as WWF.
The art poster with frame is intended for indoor use.
How is the payment transaction protected?

An SSL certificate (Secure Sockets Layer certificate) is a digital certificate that verifies that a website is authentic and that the connection between you and the site is encrypted and secure .
