"I was thinking about the calming effect of the forest and the so-called Blue Hour, especially in winter evenings in Finland, while painting this watercolor. My brush worked intuitively on the paper and when I finally finished the painting, I playfully saw in it a figure looking out from the horizon, from behind the mountains.
