"When I painted the original work, I wanted to bring out the gaze of a young woman turning inward or observing her own image through a mirror. Worries and sorrows, anxiety and fears are relieved by breathing in and out, one breath at a time. The title of the work "Yesterday is Today is Tomorrow" metaphorically says that life carries on.
